SELL FAQs
We’ve made our selling process straightforward and simple:
1. Click Start Selling on our homepage or click on “Sell” on the top menu from any page then select the device you’d like to sell.
2. Once you have found your device you will be prompted to answer a few questions and will be given an instant quote.
3. Tell us how you want to be paid (by PayPal or check) and if you need a box and packaging materials.
4. Click place order and you will receive an Order # and confirmation email.
5. Once your order is placed you will be sent a shipping label and instructions via email explaining how to prepare & ship your device. With SmartphonesPLUS shipping is always free!
6. Once we receive the device we’ll inspect it to be sure it is the correct model, condition, etc. that was quoted. If it is not, we will send a revised offer which you can accept or decline. If you decline a revised offer we ship it back for free!
7. If everything checks out, we’ll send your cash the same day the order is processed!
If you are selling your device in-store we will inspect your device on the spot and pay out cash or store credit.
Your device can be categorized into one of the following conditions:
Excellent:
1. Device looks brand new.
2. Has absolutely no scratches, scuffs, or marks.
3. Battery health must be above 85% (86% or higher).
4. Absolutely no cracks or chips on the device.
5. Absolutely no screen burn, white dots, or other pixel damage.
6. Software is not modified or rooted.
7. The device is fully functional.
Good:
1. Device shows light signs of wear.
2. Contains few light scratches or marks.
3. Absolutely no cracks or chips on the device.
4. Absolutely no screen burn, white dots, or other pixel damage.
5. Software is not modified or rooted.
6. The device is fully functional.
Fair:
Device shows moderate to excessive signs of wear such as deep or many scratches, marks, scuffs, or dents.
1. Absolutely no cracks or chips on the device.
2. Absolutely no screen burn, white dots, or other pixel damage.
3. Software is not modified or rooted.
4. The device is fully functional.
Broken:
1. Cracked, chipped, or other damage to the screen, back glass, camera lens, frame or anywhere else on the device.
2. Screen burn, ghost image, white dots, or other pixel damage.
3. Bad port(s), bad battery, water damage, or any other hardware or software issues.
4. Broken Face/Touch ID or Biometrics.
5. Modified software or rooted.
6. All parts of the device must be included.
No Power:
The device does not fully power on, charge, or show any signs of life.

We take the protection of your personal information very seriously. We can assure you that we only use this information in accordance with our privacy policy. For more information please read our privacy policy. Any information left on your device will be erased and the device will be reset to factory settings.
No. We cannot accept devices that have been reported as lost or stolen. The device you sell must be yours to sell and must not have been reported.
Yes! It is a collective effort to take care of our environment. We will accept devices you wish to recycle and will dispose of them properly.
Yes, we pay much more than you’d think for damaged or cracked cell phones, tablets, and more!
Yes, we do accept water damaged devices. These fall under our “Broken” or “No Power” category depending on if the phone fully works or not. Many times water damaged devices can seem to work normally that is why it is best to make sure you check the water damage indicator on your device to see if it has been in contact with water.

The devices that are sold by SmartphonesPLUS are lightly used or have been refurbished and are restored to normal working order. Some devices may contain light wear or scratches depending on the condition. All devices will be fully wiped and reset to factory default settings.
We offer a 30-day warranty on every device we sell. We take quality very seriously. Every device we sell must have a 100% score on our rigorous quality testing. We test everything from the screen and battery to the vibration motor.
We do charge sales tax. This will be calculated on your order at checkout. Any discounts on your order are also calculated at checkout unless stated or shown.
What we have in stock changes on a day-to-day basis. Generally we keep Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones, Google Pixel phones, Apple iPads, smartwatches, MacBooks, and accessories in stock. Occasionally, we experience high demand for certain items. This may cause items to become unavailable. If you are looking for a certain device or model feel free to reach out to us at business@elitegadget.store and we would be happy to special order it for you!
